De Luz Road

California Southern Oak Woodland, Chaparral

These are the plants I photographed on March 14 when my buddy Ken and I meant to go to Idyllwild but got distracted by all the wildflowers growing along a section of De Luz Road in northern San Diego County, behind Camp Pendleton.  There was beautiful blue ceanothus in patchwork in the chaparral on the hillsides, but I was not able to get a photo of it on this trip.
