Plant Information

Asteraceae

In the garden:

a deep green, spreading shrub which grows up to 2 feet tall. It is much-branched. This evergreen grows in clumps usually from rocks. Beautiful display of yellow flowers from September to November.  Excellent for use in a rock garden.

In the wild:

Frequent in crevices of granite rocks on cliffs and slopes, between 2500 to 9000 feet.
